Serving Persecuted Christians Worldwide - NIGERIA: LEAH SHARIBU'S PARENTS - Open Doors UK & Ireland

Send postcard to Rebecca and Nathan Sharibu

Leah Sharibu parents

Leah's parents, Nathan and Rebecca, and her grandmother

On 19 February 2018, 14-year-old Leah Sharibu was among 110 students kidnapped from their school by Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP). Tragically, one girl died in captivity. The others were released within a month, but Leah was kept because she refused to deny Jesus.

Like millions of Christian women and girls around the world, Leah is vulnerable for both her gender and her faith.

For Leah’s parents, Nathan and Rebecca, each day is unbearably difficult, not knowing if their daughter is okay and if they’ll ever see her again. They continue to desperately need your prayers. And now there is something else you can do to support them – you can write to them. They’d love to hear from you.

To prevent Nathan and Rebecca from being overwhelmed, please ensure that you stick closely to the guidelines provided below.

Although this limits what you can write and send, please be assured that your card will be given to Leah’s parents, with each one serving as a tangible reminder of the number of people praying for them and their daughter.

  • Please print this off and write only your first name and country on the back (you can include a salutation such as ‘With love’ or ‘God bless’)

  • Please send this in an envelope to the address provided at the below (if you are sending multiple postcards, please post them in the same envelope)
